Well, I finally have Windows XP reinstalled on my netbook, and what a long and curious journey it was. I had to order restore discs from Dell. Lo and behold, they sent me DVD's for a system without even a CD drive *facepalm*. So I went around the internetz looking for a solution, and finally I found a wonderful tool called Novicorp WinToFlash, a freeware application for Windows XP/Vista/7 that makes a bootable Windows Setup USB drive with the Windows version of your choice, as long as you have an actual disc or a .iso of it. Anyway, after I made a bootable Dell Restore disk, it WOULDN'T LOAD. Why? Because APPARENTLY the boot routine on these
